It all started in a small 500 watt radio station in Fresno...ooops !! Wrong history
It all started on a rainy rainy day in beautiful Encino, CA. Dateline March 1999... My wife and I were trying to decide whether or not to pack up and move to Palm Springs and open a mid-century modern furniture store. We put an ad in the hollywood Reporter to lease our amazing hilltop mid-century modern home and on that rainy day over 100 people showed up , over 40 of them filled out a lease app so we figured it was kismet !
A little back story: my wife had just been nominated for an Academy Award and decided that although she loved the "business" , the 18 hour days where just too much .
I had worked for Neiman Marcus for over 20 years in the Studio Department dealing exclusively with movie and tv stars and providing wardrobe for the industry as well as working with VIP clients such as the Sultan of Bruni, I had also decided enough was enough and it was time to make a change. Watching one of the Sultan's wives spend 600 grand in one afternoon was starting to get on my nerves !
So we got on the road and headed to Palm springs to look for a house......TO BE CONTINUED WHETHER YOU CARE OR NOT !!!
